Haiti Appeal
by Mr R Liddington - Tuesday, 19 January 2010, 01:20 PM

The terrible devastation caused by the earthquake in Haiti has prompted two of our students to embark on a fundraising adventure on behalf of Tearfund, who are working in the area most affected by the earthquake.

Lucy Wills and Lewis May in Year 5  are offering to make and decorate sandwich cakes for parents. These can be for a special event such as a birthday or simply for you to eat for your pleasure!

The cakes cost £5 each. Parents intested in purchasing a cake are asked to complete and return the letter being sent home with your child this week or email us at school and we will pass on your details to the children in question. Thank you!

Sportsxtra

I am very sorry and extremely disappointed to inform parents that the school has had to terminate our association with sportsxtra with immediate effect.

Despite initial promises of instructors to lead the spring term programme this has collapsed over the past 24 hours, leaving us with little choice but to cancel these clubs. The school will look to other service providers to further enhance our extra curricular provision
